Shenango China Native Indian Potter Sculpture 1940s-1950s

Vintage Shenango China advertising souvenir Native American potter sculptural figure made of unglazed porcelain. Crafted at Shenango China Inc. in Newcastle, Pa., circa 1940s-1950s. The figure measures appx. 10-1/2" high x 11" wide x 12" deep at the base. The piece is in good to very good condition with minor surface wear. There are a few manufacturer's flaws, such as cracked clay during firing, in the lap area and along the neckline. There is a surface chip on the lower right front corner, near the "A" in "CHINA". The feather has been glued by a previous owner, as found. Please see photos for image details.
